Top 5 BEST St. Pete Brunch Spots

Listen— brunch is a serious subject. You don’t want to pay $50 for a limited menu and “okay” food when you can pay less for a decadent brunch buffet with craft mimosas, right?

When it comes to St. Pete brunch, we’ll be honest: it’s going to be really hard to narrow down. But since you’re new here and we’ve had a chance to explore, let us tell you about our favorites!

Top 5 BEST St. Pete Brunch Spots

Here are our qualifications for what we consider the “best” when it comes to food and restaurants:

  • Food freshness

  • Menu variety

  • Restaurant location/decor/atmosphere

When you travel, you want an experience. And that doesn’t just stop at the destination. Your excursions, your hotel or Airbnb, and, yes, your dining choices all add up to make a memorable trip.

So, here are the best St. Pete brunch spots that can give you an experience you’ll want to brag about!

2nd & Second

Location: 201 2nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

At 2nd & Second, the diner is cozy with its bright orange exterior and shiny, modern industrial interior. The menu is filled with breakfast classics. You will feel right at home and love the quality of food at 2nd & Second.

They serve breakfast all day, which means it’s brunch every day of the week from 6 am - 4 pm

Their cocktail menu comes with the basics, but that just means they take pride in every drop and every high-level ingredient they pour into their tequila sunrises and peach bellinis.

Fresh Factory

Location: 7350 Gulf Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33706

When they say fresh, they mean fresh.

Not everyone wants mimosas during brunch, and sometimes you have a friend in your group who wants vegan options.

You’ll find all of that and more at the Fresh Factory. They’re fruitful (pun intended) with health-conscious ingredients. They have salads and smoothies, but we recommend their loaded acai bowls.
You can even order freshly pressed juice Wellness Packages which they say are a great way toincrease your intake of fruits and veggies which help to boost your immune system the natural way.”

Wild Child

Location: 2710 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

This isn’t your typical St. Pete brunch spot.

From the moment you walk about to their orange geometrical facade, you know you’re in for a treat. Wild Child encourages its patrons to “Slow down and coast” at this vibrant neighborhood bistro and cocktail bar.

It’s one of those places where everything on the menu makes your mouth water. They have Strawberry Shortstacks, Tres Leches French Toast, and the best breakfast tacos.

But if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, we recommend the Turkish Eggs or Bacon-Kimchi Omelet!

P.S. It is best to make a reservation! It gets busy.

Bandit Coffee Co.

Location: 2662 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

Oh, sorry, I didn’t see you drooling there.

I mean— come on. Look at this masterpiece!

Don’t let the name fool you. While Bandit Coffee Co. is well-known for its craft collection selection, its food makes it a less crowded spot for a quiet St. Pete brunch.

If this Maple Bourdon French Toast is too sweet for your tastebuds, we recommend their sourdough sandwiches. Maybe pair it with the Maple Bourdon Latte!

Pop Goes the Waffle

Location: 5004 Tangerine Ave S, Gulfport, FL 33707

The name says it all.
Pop Goes the Waffle is such a unique little spot for brunch in St. Pete. Their website encourages you to visit and “Enjoy pastries, coffee, weekend brunch specials and of course WAFFLES inside our cozy café, or on our dog-friendly patio.”

Their specialty lies in the Liege waffles, which are thick, buttery waffles baked with caramelized pearl sugar. Think of a Belgium waffle but with more flavor.

I’m craving one right now!
